Tra impegni e cose varie ho trascurato un pò questo blog. Bè.. di cose ne sono successe, ma ecco un breve riepilogo!
Dave ha lasciato la band, James e Steve hanno confermato che il gruppo non si scioglierà (avevano cancellato un sacco di concerti e di date e si pensava ad uno scioglimento della band), hanno detto che stanno scrivendo nuove canzoni e stanno preparando il secondo album e James dà una mano anche alle Avenue B, il gruppo della sua ragazza, Gab.
Dave, dopo aver mollato i SoD, si è aggiunto ad una band chiamata The Kobes.

- James ha scritto la sigla di un programma inglese chiamato “This is David Gest” e questa sarà cantata e suonata dalla band del nipote di Michael Jackson, i 3T.
- Bulletin di James intitolato “Shepherds bush 24th march”: What up people. Im not sleeping cos shep bush is gonna be the rebirth of destruction. Im in NY with my amazing girlfriend. Later
- I SoD si sono ritirati da Xuberance Weekend (in Galles), non si sa, però, il motivo. http://www.xuberanceweekend.co.uk/en/music/index.php
- i SoD anche quest'anno parteciperanno al Soccer Six.

Its going to be pretty serious and is going to be london based. Theres no age or sex specification, but only apply if your serious and have the means and capabilities to be in a full time, working band. Experience isnt needed, but would be preferred. We have the full band except a singer so thats all im looking for at the mo, so if your interested and wanna blast some shit then send an mp3 of an example of you singing to: weneedasinger@hotmail.co.uk

- Dal myspace dei Sod: Tour Cancellation: Safe Y'all, so its all out there and everybody knows - the tour that was planned is cancelled.
First of all i would like to apologise to all who bought a ticket, all who helped promote it, and everyone that works closely with us, i didn't want this to happen, but due to reasons i'll explain below, it has.
I don't know what excuse has been given for the cancellation, but its due mainly to poor sales throughout the tour. At the point of the decision being made to cancel, the tour had sold so few tickets, it would have crippled the promoters to have let it go on. The fact of the matter is that the band is going through a very tough time at the moment, and trying to weather this storm is proving to be a lot harder than first thought; and with the ticket sales reflecting our bands current status, it was thought best to leave it for now. Instead, we shall be concentrating on getting the band back to a happy medium where we can write and release music, tour and just generally enjoy band life.
I'd like to thank you all though, for sticking by us through thick and thicker; we owe you so much and i want you to know i appreciate everything you do for us, it really means alot to me.
Again i want to apologise to all who were affected by this decision, but i promise you this, there is no one more pissed about it than me.

Ciao! ^_^
C’è qualche news sui SoD e qualche news per ciò che riguarda il forum!
♫ Private Party+News Generali. Si ringraziano BTB e Cla.
Well as many of you may know, James announced Son Of Dork were playing a private gig in a London hotel. A few people, including myself, went up to check it out. It turned out we couldn't get in, although James did try, but as it was for a Jewish Celebration of Bar Mitzvah, it was private. Son Of Dork were lined up to play a set of 6 tracks, and all I know is they played Air Hostess as their last song. They were specifically asked to perform this.
I heard they also played Ticket Outta Loserville, Slacker, Eddie's Song, Murdered In The Mosh and We're Not Alone. That is the lowdown of the gig, tbh. No fans were allowed in, and the set started at 10:30pm as James said. For the last song, James got all the kids on stage and they were apparently going wild and treading on all their guitar pedals!
Apart from the gig, there isn't much to comment on. I found out some random stuff, including the fact James is growing his hair out. The colours. He claims he is bored of it. Right now, he keeps wearing his Back To The Future cap, and beneath it is some rather messy and rather curly hair!
James (and his brother Nick) told me and some others about new SicPuppy hoodies coming soon. Apparently they now have ZIPS....interesting? There are no new Sic Tour dates coming anytime soon, this is set to be an official launch, not an actual tour!
Steve also mentioned they have written a sequel to Crashed The Wedding (yes, the Busted song), but we're not sure about this right now, we'll have to wait and see.
